Procedure update – 19 December

We are really looking forward to welcoming you back tonight for the Comedy All Stars: Little X-Mas show tonight.

We’ve had a few queries ahead of tonight’s hilarity, and we have also revised our procedures slightly to comply with the very latest government guidance.

Ticketing and Entry:
We have revised our seating plan especially for this evening to accomodate a high demand from household bubbles of three and four. The seating plan is still COVID-Secure and you will be informed of your seats as soon as you arrive.

Everyone will be temperature checked on entry, and we ask that masks are worn over the mouth and nose while you are moving through the building. We are required to challenge those who aren’t following these rules, so please don’t be offended – but if you have an exemption to wearing a mask, please let us know.

Please also scan the NHS barcode displayed on entry with the COVID-19 App.

Toilets:
These remain two in, two out. Please be respectful to other users and maintain social distancing as much as possible.

Exit:
Please stay in your seats after the show, you will be released row by row to ensure a socially distanced exit.

Bar:
The bar is open and we are happy to say that we can serve alcohol without a substantial meal as we are a theatrical venue. Please order via e-mail (studiotpsbar@gmail.com) with the surname of your lead ticket holder or your seat number and we will run to you with a card reader and sweet sweet refreshment.

Like all venues up and down the country we have sustained heavy losses over this year. Unfortunately we have had to dispose of around £2500 of bar stock across the two lockdowns. With this and the severely reduced number of events/capacity we have been forced to under estimate the amount of stock we will use across the remainder of 2020. All orders will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis, but we thank you for your understanding if we do need to offer you a substitute during these difficult times.

The Bar List is available here (no scotch-eggs… sorry!).

If you have any questions, please ask one of the team who will be wearing a Studio@TPS polo shirt (as we have relaxed our front of house uniform temporarily – it’s Christmas after all!) and they’ll be more than happy to assist.

We can’t wait to see you this evening – enjoy the show.

Lockdown Announcement (30/10)

Unfortunately due to the Government announcement on Saturday 30 October, the venue will be closing its doors immediately for the duration of lockdown.

All ticket holders will be refunded automatically over the next few days by our providers TicketSource. For any issues, please contact them on support@ticketsource.co.uk

Please be patient with us while we work through this process. We’d like to wish everyone the best during these difficult times and sincerely hope that everyone stays safe and well.

The Studio nominated at the Petersfield Festival Awards!

we are absolutely thrilled to have been nominated in the ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT Category in the Petersfield Festivals awards this year.

Huge congratulations to the team, and to all of our performers over this last year who made this happen. We’d also like to say a massive thank you to our fabulous audiences who nominated us.

There is no voting for our category as the winner has already been decided and will be announced on November 13, but please jump onto the website and vote for YOUR local awards now at https://www.petersfieldfest.com/petersfieldawards

Congratulations again to all of our fellow nominees. Please vote so you can support your local businesses!

HAMILTON: Bar and additional event info.

With our first test event happening this evening, and with the venue looking to reopen fully in the coming weeks – here is all the latest information.

Just a couple of things that we’d like to mention ahead of the showing:

– Please ensure you arrive to The Studio by 7.10pm ready for a safety announcement and theatre doors to open at 7.15pm.
– We will call everyone row by row to manage a safe and swift entry to the building. If you need to use the toilet before this time, please use the toilets located within the main block.
– Barcodes will be displayed on doors and areas around the building for you to be able to scan with the new NHS Test and Trace app.
– Please bring your tickets with you, and have them ready for scanning.
– Please ensure you wear your masks while you are walking around the building, through the foyer to your seats or to the toilets. Medical exemptions do apply, but please let the team know if you are affected by these.
– Once seated, please ensure you remain there unless you need to visit the toilet.
– Toilets are x2 at a time.
– The Bar will not be open to serve drinks, however you may order your pre-showing/interval drinks and snacks ahead of time by e-mailing studiotpsbar@gmail.com with your seat number, what refreshments you’d like and whether you’d like them pre-showing, at the interval (or both!). These will be brought to you at the appropriate time and payment taken via contactless.
– Following the showing please REMAIN IN YOUR SEATS until you are asked to vacate. This will ensure a smooth and socially distanced exit from the venue.
– Glass boxes and bins will be left by the doors, we ask that you take your rubbish with you or dispose of it in the bins/boxes provided.
– We will be sending you a feedback form, which we would kindly ask that you fill out as soon as possible, so we can refine any of our processes ahead of future events. All those that fill these in, will be sent a free drinks voucher for use at a future event.

We hope you enjoy the film, and we really can’t wait to see you and be in ‘The Room Where it Happens’.

COVID-19 Update: Seating

As TPS reopens its’ doors to students, we at The Studio are hard at work towards our own next steps of opening the venue to audiences and restarting our live events.

With that in mind, we will be opening with a strictly limited maximum capacity of 60 seats.

Row G will be reserved exclusively for parties of 4, with parties of 6 needing to split across a zone of 4 and a zone of 2.

Patrons that purchase tickets in a zone of 4 will be moved into the nearest available zone of two. We ask that you respect other patrons and choose your seating with courtesy for those that may wish to book for larger parties.

Red seats indicate available seating.

Other arrangements, such as access to the building on performance nights and bar provisions will be announced in due course.

COVID-19 Update: Bob Fox & Billy Mitchell

Following discussions with the promoter, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone Bob Fox & Billy Mitchell indefinitely until we are able to reopen the venue to its full capacity.

All ticket holders will be refunded automatically, and our ticketing providers will be processing these over the next few days.

We hope to be able to reopen the space to its full as soon as is safe.

American Legends: 2021 Date Confirmed

We are delighted to announce that the American Legends have now confirmed that they will be performing their long awaited show on Saturday 27 March 2021 at 7.30pm.

All tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date, but if this date is not possible for you – please let us know via boxoffice@petersfieldschool.com with your booking reference number and we will arrange a refund with our ticketing providers TicketSource.

For more details, including how to book tickets, please visit their event page.

COVID-19: Latest Information (01/07)

As of July 1st 2020, The Studio@TPS is closed to all visitors and we will not be contactable via phone.

Please contact us via the contact page, where your query will be dealt with as soon as possible.

For those with tickets to postponed events, you will be contacted when a new date is arranged with the respective promoters and offered the option of a ticket transfer/refund. Please bear with us during this time while we make the necessary arrangements. We will be in touch as soon as there is news.

New Studio@TPS Website

We are delighted to be able to share with you the brand new Studio@TPS website!

The new website provides a central hub for all the latest news and information for all the events going on at our wonderful venue, and enables us to put everything in one place and show you everything we have to offer here at The Studio.

Although we have been unfortunately affected by the COVID-19 crisis in recent months, and our venue is currently closed to the public, we are however pressing on with some live events directly from TPS itself – with a Virtual Music Festival taking place this coming Friday – further details of which will be available on our events page shortly.

We are also excited to soon be launching our “Sponsor a Seat” campaign, so stay tuned for more details on that.

We hope you enjoy our website, feel free to also join our mailing list via the link on the right hand side to get all the latest news delivered straight to your inbox!
